The early 1990’s considered the most dramatic rise in sales of the bike ever, mainly because of the incredibly popular mountain bike (MTB). The meteoric rise of reputation has consistently considered the mountain bike in many homes. The reason behind this popularity is the flexibility of the mountain bike designed for direct ground path. Looking to buy a mountain bike, these are the main points you will have to decide on:

Because the pads are located further from the surface of the tire when riding in wet / muddy, disc brakes are less affected by wet surfaces than other types of brakes.
- Transmission:
Most new mountain bikes now come with bullet-proof transmission, usually with a choice of 21, 24 or 28 gear combinations. Transmission ranges in price, and in general, more expensive systems are lighter (well, to compete with) and refined cheaper models.
Bikes on the decline, however, can use only a chain-ring (the tooth by your feet) just three (in general use to reach the 21, 24 or 28 gear combinations) that competes with the bottom of the hill takes on speed alone, so the smaller teeth (used to climb the hills) are removed to save weight.
- Tires:
